Completed joint project: ENTUDAT

The Aqua-Terra Lab Ltd., the VRIC Veszprém Regional Innovation Centre Nonprofit Ltd. and Apertech Ltd. jointly won HUF 259.57 million subsidy under the invitation to tender "Support for market-oriented research and development activities" section. 85% of the amount in contract No. GOP 1.1.1-11-2012-0455 will be financed by the European Union's European Regional Development Fund, and 15% from the central budget of Hungary. The result of the HUF 347.31 million investment is a new device and application development package. The new package will encourage and support the environmental awareness and the efficient use of energy, complying with the Europe 2020 growth strategy. During the project, a system has been developed which allows the smart meter reading without the replacement of the meters, and supports consumers on the basis of the obtained information in efficient energy use. Accentuated goal is to increase the retail and institutional energy awareness. The system can support not only the consumer, but the government operational and statistical purposes as well and can be a source of information to the utility companies. Accordingly, within the framework of the project was built a central database, which, depending on the type of use is capable of storing data and providing itemized or aggregate information to authorized persons and organizations. The system supports operational and statistical aims of the government on the basis of the EU strategy and can be a source of information for the utility companies.
